SYNO MEDIA SERVICES (“we”, “us”, “our”, “Syno Apparel”) operates the website synoapparel.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you visit our website and make purchases. This policy is compliant with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
We collect information you provide directly to us when placing an order or contacting us, including your name, email address, phone number, shipping address and payment-related references (such as UPI transaction IDs). We do not store card data, UPI PINs or bank account numbers on our servers, in compliance with RBI Tokenisation guidelines. Where applicable, we also collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, through standard analytics tools.
Your personal data is processed to fulfil the contract you enter into with us when you place an order. Specifically we use it to: process and ship your orders; send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, payment notifications); respond to your queries and provide customer support; comply with applicable laws (including tax, accounting and consumer protection laws); and, with your consent, send marketing communications — from which you can unsubscribe at any time.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to: access a summary of the personal data we hold about you; request correction, completion, or erasure of your personal data; withdraw your consent for processing where consent is the legal basis; nominate another individual to exercise these rights in the event of your incapacity or death; and grievance redressal. You may exercise these rights by writing to grievance@synoapparel.com.
Your data is stored on secure servers protected by industry-standard encryption. Our website uses HTTPS/SSL for all data transmission. We implement reasonable security practices as required under the IT Act, 2000 and the DPDP Act, 2023. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only. We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share your data only with: payment processors (e.g. MMADPay) to process UPI transactions; logistics partners to deliver your order; email service providers to send transactional emails; and law enforcement authorities where required by law.
We use essential cookies to enable core site functionality (e.g. the shopping cart) and third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors interact with our site. You may disable cookies in your browser, but some features of the site may not work correctly. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.
Our services are not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
